PinkPurpose.com Launches – 100% Net Profits Benefit @AMGB’s Avon Walk for Breast Cancer — MissyWard.com

PinkPurpose.com Logo

For the last 8 years, I’ve been an active fundraiser for charities working to prevent and cure Breast Cancer. In 2007, I founded AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com  to provide the affiliate marketing industry a platform to raise money for Breast Cancer research, treatment, awareness and community programs.

The cause was very close to my heart and I had hoped that I’d be able to enhance its visibility somewhat and raise a little bit more money to help fight it. I had no idea that so many folks would actively support the effort but in just a couple of weeks we had raised $17,000.

Support began to snowball and to date; AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com has helped to raise almost $325,000.00 in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and the National Breast Cancer Foundation, through various fundraising efforts, which you can read about on the AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com website.

PinkPurpose.com is another one of those efforts.

As an affiliate marketer, I earn commissions when you purchase an item from the online retailers retailers featured on this website.  All you have to do is simply click on the link from PinkPurpose.com to visit that retailer in order for me to receive credit for that sale.  I will donate 100% of the commissions that I receive to the Affiliate Marketers Give Back 2012 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

So please consider shopping through PinkPurpose.com and help us raise funds for the prevention, treatment and cure of this devastating disease.  There are hundreds of items available and more being added every day!

Happy 5th Birthday, Chase Spaulding!

Dear Chase,

Today, you turn into that "Big, Big Boy" that we talked about.

I can't believe that you've grown so tall this year and even more handsome.  And, I'm not just saying that because I'm your Mom.  All the little girls in your Pre-K know it too because there's always a giant cluster of them around you.  I can only imagine what's to come later down the road.

You've been such an active kid this year and have definitely kept the family on its toes, including the new puppy, Addison.  You've also gotten a little rascally this year too and have spent your fair share of time in the "Time Out" corner at school, along with your friends. But, I really belive that threatening you with the removal of Power Rangers Samurai from your TV regimen has helped limit the time that you're spending staring into an empty corner.

You're reading adn math have gotten really sharp this year. You're definitely going to give your future Kindergarten teacher a run for her money.  (Mommy lives for this kind of stuff.  I'll explain it to you when you get bigger).

I love that you can pick things up so quickly and that you love your books and making up stories.  The one last night about the black bear from France who spoke Japanese when he was happy and ate 14 hot dogs a day, was one of my favorites so far.

You've also gotten very brave this year.  You saved Aunt Carol and Uncle Larry by pointing out that coral snake and have taken on all of the invisible ninjas that live in our house, that only you can see.  I do wish that you would be a little more corageous when it comes to vegetables.  You're just like your brother when it comes to eating your greens.

I personally think you're just about perfect.  If I could ask for one thing, it would be for you to sleep past the crack of dawn each day, or at least not to wake everyone else up in the house, at that ghastly time.

I'm in awe over the grown up words that you use, or when you bust into one of the other 5 languages that you've learned.  While I can't understand half of what you're saying unless it's in Spanish or Sign, you look so darn cute saying it.  I'm sure that those languages will come in handy in your future travels as a US Ambassador, Astronaut or Cosmic Ninja Super Hero.

It's been so exciting watching you grow these last 5 years and I look forward to watching you become the great man that I know you will be.

I love you so much, Chase.

Happy Birthday!

-Your Mom.

Happy Birthday Alex!

Star Wars CupCakes that I brought to Alex's 4th Grade Class This Morning to Celebrate His Birthday

Dear Alex,

Today, you have made it to the double digits!  (Single digits are SO last year!).

Part of me doesn't want to acknowledge that you're getting so big.  Maybe it's because your "teens" are only 3 short years away.  Or, maybe it's because I have to acknowledge that I've aged 10 years since you were born :)

Speaking of acknowledging, here are a few things I have to also admit:

  • Yes, your video skills are becoming unstoppable.
  • Yes, you're now old enough to walk down the block by yourself to play with Brennan.
  • Yes, now that you've been around for a decade, you know so much more than your 4-year old brother.

But remember this... even as you get older, you will always be my baby boy and that means that for the rest of your life, you will have to contend with my OPMS. (Over-Protective Mom Syndrome).  Deal with it.  That said, I can't wait to kick your butt at Nerf Blasters at Kidtropolis this weekend!

Happy Birthday, Alex. You are the Perfect 10!

Love,

Mom

Heart
